a knowing

I hope words will come,
to write in this space
words, when read,
will bring a smile to your face

the thoughts are all here,
whispering so loud,
they are heard above,
a deafening crowd

there’s a look, a touch
and a knowing…
but a shout in your ear,
becomes a whisper…
