I really miss concerts!! The last concerts I went to see were in December of 2019!! I Mother Earth and The Standstills at the Bronson Centre, local Ottawa group Silent Winters at the NAC, and Serena Ryder also at the NAC. View the slideshows below.
It’s been 19 months since I’ve seen a concert in person, though live streaming is great it doesn’t really capture all the feels of a live show! I have tickets in hand for a show in March of 2022 in Toronto, my daughter and I are going to see one of our favourite bands, Whitehorse, at Massy Hall! It will be an amazing concert, but it will be a long hard wait… maybe something will come up sooner, though an out of town concert of one of your favourite bands is certainly and appropriate restart to the standstill of your favourite pastime! Ya see what I did there!!! LOL! The photo above is drummer Renée Couture of the Canadian Rock band The Standstills. Renée and her husband Jonny Fox are a fabulous band to see and hear!
And this photo is one of the last photos I took of Whitehorse back in 2018 at CityFolk here in Ottawa.
