Ottawa Christmas Lights

Parliament_Hill_Christmas_Lights_1983If you’re looking for something to do on one of these Spring-like evenings we’re having, check out the Christmas Lights at Parliament Hill. Sounds a bit odd putting Spring and Christmas in to the same sentence! I am very impressed with the Lights at Parliament Hill this year, it was well worth the visit and as it is still quite mild you don’t have to brave the cold either, returning home with 10 fingers, 2 ears and a nose is always nice! The 31st edition of Christmas Lights Across Canada at Parliament Hill show every evening from December 2, 2015 to January 7, 2016, from 4:30 p.m. to 2 a.m.

A brief stop at Lansdowne Park was fun too! The Aberdeen Pavilion is lit up and the square full of Christmas Trees, and even though it’s not for Christmas, the ‘Moving Surfaces’ sculpture by Jill Anholt next to the Stadium is quite something to see at night.
