The Balconies and The Sam Roberts Band
The opening act Friday night at the Dragon Boat Festival was The Balconies with Jacquie Neville on lead vocals and guitar, brother Steve Neville on Bass and Liam Jaeger on Drums, and I haven’t been able to find the name of the other guitarist. What a fabulous show from this Ottawa band, and talk about a girl-on-fire!! These photos of the Balconies are not available for purchase and should not be used without my explicit permission.
The Sam Roberts Band hit the stage next to a crowd that was well warmed up. It was certainly a treat having these two great Canadian acts on stage at a free concert. I’m only disappointed that the weather didn’t hold out all weekend.
