If you are in business or starting up a business I can help. Click here to read more about Luckham Creative, read below to get an idea of some of the specifics I do, or check out my design portfolio or photo galleries.
If you’re starting a new venture you’ll need a professionally designed logo or wordmark to start, after which a business card and web site at the very least. And most important, is the continuity from one to the next. When I design your logo or wordmark I’m designing your identity which will include, not only your company name and possibly a graphic but a specific type face and very specific colours, a look and feel that I will carry across all your promotional materials. I’ve had clients I’ve designed logos and business cards for come back and say “I get a completely different reaction when I hand out my business cards now, at the very least people pause to look at it before putting it in their pocket. Some even do a double take and make a point of saying ‘nice card’.” That’s the reaction you want, the whole idea of an identity, whether a large corporation or just someone with a side business, is to make an impression so that you will be remembered long after the hand shake.
If you’ve been in business for some time but want to put a fresh focus on your business I’ve done a number of redesigns for clients and the one thing I always suggest is not to change everything, you need to keep something so there will be a recognition factor. I did one redesign for a company that was not doing very well and was having a difficult time getting their product in the stores. After taking their existing logo and keeping the wordmark, but replacing the graphic with a new and friendly character to represent the business, they were not only getting product in the stores, but stores that turned them away were happy to start carrying the product.
So whether you’re looking for design from the ground up, or you just need a new brochure or a redesign of existing materials, Luckham Creative can help.
