What if… Michonne… didn’t know!

What if Weekends: 52 Weeks Project 30/52

What if Michonne came walking in to town on the very day the town decided to hold their annual Zombie Walk? Michonne is a survivor of the Zombie Apocalypse, her instinct is to kill or be killed as soon as she sees a walker, someone who has died and come back to life due to a virus everyone is infected with. It wouldn’t
be until after her first kill that she would realize, by the crowd’s reaction, that they weren’t real zombies! Yeah I know… I can be pretty sick! 😉

** Please Note: no living breathing humans were harmed in the making of this illusion!

If you don’t know the AMC TV Show, or the Comic Book Series, “The Walking Dead”, Michonne is a Katana carrying survivor character from that show. I had suggested to a filmmaker friend that he should shoot a film around the Zombie Walk, where some of the Zombies were real Zombies and a battle ensues where it’s difficult to tell who is a real Zombie and who is not. I went on the walk for the first time this year and had planned to come out of it with a Photo Illusion, well it’s difficult trying to do an organized planned shoot on the walk. This is what I came up with, I gave my card to most of the zombies I shot but no one has contacted me, so I don’t know who any of these Zombies are.

This is my What if Weekend Photo Illusion for week 30 of my 52 Weeks Project! As I don’t have the names of all the Zombies in this Illusion, thanks go out to everyone that participated in the 2012 Ottawa Zombie Walk, as morbid as it may seem it was a lot of fun and we have so many creative and talented people here in Ottawa! A special thanks to Biker Zombie and Michonne for participating in my Illusion. You have my card… “Hey, I just met you, You’re dead and this is crazy, But here’s my number, So call me, maybe?” ;-). If anyone knows anyone in this Illusion, please let me know.

This 52 Week Project is part of a new endeavour of mine I call Photo Illusionism, one photo illusion every week for 52 weeks, check out the web site and “Like” my page on Facebook. And remember, if you want one of your own photo illusions, send me a message and let’s talk… I have 22 more to do!
