In the film Labyrinth, Sarah has to enter a Labyrinth to get to the castle and find her brother who was kidnapped by the Goblin King. At the Gate to the Labyrinth she meets Hoggle who, to Sarah’s shock is busy killing Fairies! When she picks one up it bites her…
Sarah: Ow! It bit me!
Hoggle: What’d you expect fairies to do?
Sarah: I thought they did nice things, like… like granting wishes.
Hoggle: Shows what *you* know, don’t it?
So what if Hoggle wasn’t at the Gate when Sarah arrived, and what if she asked a Fairy for help? My guess is they wouldn’t have done the “nice thing” and led her to her brother, they would have probably led her down the wrong path until she was lost so far inside the Labyrinth that she would never get out again. What do you think? Time for a reboot of the Labyrinth?
