What if… she’s not done yet….

What if Weekends: 52 Weeks Project 50/52

Given all this winter weather we’ve been having I thought I’d ask the Ice Queen if she’d like to be in a Photo Illusion. She looked at me, with that ice cold stare she has, reached out her ice cold hand and said… “Who needs an Illusion?”. Sorry everyone, I thought she was done, and maybe she’d like to do a “relaxing on a beach” illusion! 🙁

Seriously though, it’s only mid April, given my Birthday is next week I recall more than a few birthdays with snow or at least very cold. And even though I haven’t lived in Ottawa all my life I seem to recall snow ruining the start of the Tulip Festival one year. So, I agree, let’s call out the Groundhog for getting it wrong, but we all know who has the last word! And here’s a song to remind you who…

“When leaves have fallen
And skies turned into grey.
The night keeps on closing in on the day
A nightingale sings his song of farewell
You better hide for her freezing hell

On cold wings she’s coming
You better keep moving
For warmth, you’ll be longing
Come on just feel it
Don’t you see it?
You better believe it.”
